Location
Hook in a memorable stting in a breathtaking Five story Atrium in Cranberry Township. Easily accessible from all travel points. Relax in the Indoor/Outdoor Pool, Suana, Jacuzzi and Exercise Room. There are many different restaurants, some within walking distance. Also many shops are avaialbe and a great jewelry store, located in the hotel.
Workshop Registration
- Registration fee is $395.00 for all students, including commuters.
- Deposit: $100.00 must be paid with registration application. Any cancellations made before April 15, 2012 will forfeit $50.00.
- NO REFUNDS AFTER APRIL 15, 2012.
- BALANCE OF TUITION $295.00 DUE MAY 15, 2012.

Sessions
- Monday through Wednesday Sessions: Begin on Monday at 9:00 a.m. and will end at
4:00 p.m.
- Thursday Session: Session will begin at 9:00 a.m with a wrap-up after lunch.
- Hooking rooms will be open at 7:00 a.m. till 11:00 p.m.
- Beginners are welcome. This is an open school and all patterns are taught.
- All teachers will be in separate rooms.
- There will be a store available for the purchase of supplies and patterns.
Accommodations Hotel Reservations
- Make reservations directly with the Four Points by Sheraton Pittsburgh North Hotel. Advise them that you are attending the Rug Hooking School. Rooms are reserved for the school.
- There are two handicapped rooms that can be requested @ reservation time.
- Hotel rates: $55.00 + tax, *full breakfast included (based on double occupancy) Sunday through Thursday. To be handled and paid directly with the Hotel.

Activities and Information
- School registration will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday June 17, 2012 in the lobby.
- A buffet Dinner, with Chef's Dessert table will be served at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 17, 2012.
- All students, including Commuters, will be served coffee breaks in the morning, lunch with Chef's Dessert Table (Monday thru Wednesday) and afternoon breaks with soda and cookies.
- Our final day of session on Thursday, students will be served a box lunch.
- An exhibit of rugs and hooked pieces will be held
Wednesday, June 20th, 10:00 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m. in the Armstrong Room in rthe Four Points by Sheraton Hotel. Open to the public free of charge.
Please bring finished hooked pieces for display. Attach name and maker of pattern to the piece. Please bring display pieces to the store by 9:00 a.m. Wednesday.

Instructors
All instructors are certified McGown Rug Hooking teachers.
Nancy Blood, Oswego, NY
A McGown accredited teacher with 35 years learning and teaching experience. Nancy specializes in hooking with a painterly approach in fine shading and wide cut shading in all areas of flowers, leaves, scrolls, fruit, crewel, Art Nouveau, animals, Orientals and pictorials. She has written two dye books and working on more. Nancy has two important jobs, editor of the McGown Guild Newsletter and a position on the Editorial Board of Rug Hooking Magazine.
Dianne Kelly, Hiram, OH
Dianne has two passions, one is Wide Cut and a well color planned rug. She will teach how to color plan your own rug, how to hook with wide cut strips with textures. Also different hooking stitches, and hooking for an antique look. She has been a "featured teacher" at Sauder Village Rug Show, and also been featured many times in Rug Hooking Magazine. Dianne has the ability to create a unique look in her hooked pieces. She operates the Woolen Cottage and designs rugs for her catalog.
Margaret Wenger, Lancaster, PA.
Margaret was introduced to rug hooking at the Landis Valley Farm Museum in Lancaster, PA when she was teaching a rug-braiding class there. An accredited teacher and has been hooking rugs for twenty-four years. At times she has been able to modify traditional patterns to suit the alternative materials, holding private classes in her home. Hooking, dyeing and using these materials in her class.
Margaret has prsented various rug-hooking techiques to numerous Guilds and groups in Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey.
