Sculptured 3D Rose

After 50 years of rug hooking, I started 3D (not sculptured) hooking. First, I made a 3D tea cup and then on the dummy board of St. Nicholas I made the toy bag and the pocket 3D also his hand so the staff could be held.

The 3D rose has each petal hooked separately and then sewn onto burlap and the leaves hooked directly on the burlap. The rose and the leaves can be both be hooked separately and then sewn onto any fabric.
