Cin: I am familiar with a "Hooked Rug Treasury" by Jesse Turbayne, although I've not actually seen the book. It was suggested to me to check it out in the library before buying. By the way, you can purchase her book on amazon.com for $49.95!!!

: a beautiful book, "Hooked Rug Treasury" by Jessie A. Turbayne, tells a lot about the styles of rugs during certain time periods as well as what kinds of materials were used . For instance, the earliest rugs had a certain material or style depending on the area where they were hooked. I'm not sure if it has what you are looking for, I've borrowed this book from the library many times, and would love to buy it but the price is $83! It is a real nice informative book.
