Where can I get "rya yarn" for a punchhook rug?

I have a pattern requesting to use a "lightweight rya yarn". It also mentioned something about a two-ply rug yarn (80% wool and 20% synthetic fiber) which designers obtain as waste yarn from carpet manufacturer's classified as "2/47".

I have searched the net and am unable to find anything like it. Does anyone know what kind of yarn it is and where I may purchase it?
