I raised llamas for a # of years. Ours were pack animals so not very long fibred. But I would urge you not to shear them. Only brush out the hairs, card them, spin them. I would also mix in some wool as I think it would be easier to spin. Llama does not have the lanolin like the sheep do. If you have any other questions about llamas. please email me.
