I've collected wool clothes, washed them and removed the seams, hems, etc. I am ready to cut the strips by hand. One book showed the wool cut in one continuous strip in a spiral form (in other words turn the corners of the square and keep going). However, I'm a bit uncomfortable with that suggestion and thought I'd seek other opinions before starting to cut. Should the fabric be cut in individual straight strips or in a continuous strip?
