I have enjoyed using my bent hook but would like to find one with a larger shank,tapered to the hook, so the #4 strips don't "pop" through the backing with each loop. Yes, yes I know that it would work to "push down" on each hole and enlarge it as I work but I have tried an antique hook such as this in class. It was like pulling a hot knife through butter. Where can I find another hook like this? HELP!
