: WHERE CAN I FIND THE DIRECTIONS FOR RAG STRIP RUG HOOKING WITH A WOODEN NEDDLE, USED BACK SIXTY OR SEVENTY YEARS AGO. MY SEVENTY FOUR YEAR OLD FATHER
: REMEMBERS HELPING HIS MOTHER, BUT DOESN'T REMEMBER HOW THEY DID IT , CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THESE DIRECTIONS?
: THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.......JDWINGS

Do you mean using a wooden "needle"? or is the object a "neddle" as you wrote in message? If your father remembers perhaps a wooden large crochet hook, that is what my father used himself when he made crocheted rag strip rugs as a child. Maybe this isn't what you are after...I don't know what a neddle is....sounds like something I should be doing with all my cotton rags for sure!
