I started taking rug hooking lessons in the early 1970's from Lucille Novak in Burton, Ohio. In 1983, I wrote the first acid dye formula book. There have been two updates and reprintings. 1988 was the year I bought Cam Syl Designs from Hope Camp who resides in New Mexico. Her designs are now being sold under the name Ginny's Gems. These designs are American Indian, oriental and designs of interest.
The catalog of patterns, Patterns For Rugs And Tapestries, is $5.50 and has a refund coupon with a purchase of $25.00 or more. Ginny's Gems Dye Formula Book is $6.00 plus postage, and contains 170 acid dye formulas.
