CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS
I started hooking traditionally with a hand hook, and was promoting my rug designs with my catalog business Pattico. Then, I discovered the Rumpelstiltskin's Electric Needle. I was "hooked" when I discovered I could work faster using my wool fabric strips. I am now able to be much more prolific and have been showing my work locally in Sonoma and Napa counties, California. My work has begun to promote business commissions. I have written two articles for Rug Hooking Magazine in the last year. My next business with this needle involves producing small Victorian carpet bags and purses.

I have used the Rumpelstiltskin's Electric Needle professionally for over 20 years, making large scale tapestries and floor rugs for architects, designers and private clients. My tapestries and rugs have been exhibited in San Francisco galleries and now have them available through my Creative Spirit Studio in Gualala, California.
A big advantage of the Rumpelstiltskin's needle is its light weight and manueverability. It is a real plus that you can actually sculpt while working by changing the height of the pile. The speed with which I can make a rug has made large scale projects commercially viable for me. I can cover a square foot from between 10 and 30 minutes, depending on the intricacy of the design. The largest rug I've made is 18 by 25 feet! I've enjoyed using the electric needle as a fast tool for my artistic expression and highly recommend it to any hobbyist or professional.

I highly recommend the Rumpelstiltskin's Speed/Hand Tufting Needle. I try every new and old needle on the market, but find this needle is still my favorite after 18 years. It is easy to use and adapts to many weights of yarn and cut yardage, as well as offering glorious textures.

I have used the Rumpelstiltskin's needle since 1984 and have been very pleased with the results. With the needle, I have created artworks that have been exhibited throughout the United States and South America. Tufted artworks created with the needle are in many private collections and publications including the White House, Purdue University, and the Indianapolis Museum of Art. I have won numerous awards in national and international exhibits with the fiber artwork created with the Rumplestiltskin's needle.

I have been using Rumpelstiltskin's speed needle for over five years, and in that time have made over 200 rugs. The rug size vary from 14" x 14" to 48" x 57" - any size that people request. I sell the rugs and give a lot of them to friends, with many of them being cartoon characters for children. It is a wonderful hobby for me.
