I am strictly amateur, be forewarned!!!What I would do, would be to have the picture photocopied as large as I could. Then draw a grid pattern over the photcopy,(example, maybe one inch squares on the photocopy and then have larger squares on the burlap) and then draw a larger grid pattern (depending on how large you want the rug) onto your burlap or backing, and then, square by square, draw in the features onto the burlap grid from the photocopy.
